Full price per ticket is $11,500. Deposit payments are $3,750. You will be billed for the remaining balance as we near the workshop date.

The fee for the whole workshop is $11,500 per person, which includes:

  • Retouch classes and one on one advice, tips and tricks so you can improve no matter your level in photography so everybody wins!
  • Six nights accommodation.
  • The transport during our photoshoots all over Italy.
  • The discovery of the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes of Italy with all the best photographic spots and the hidden ones :-)
  • A beautiful Italian meal to wrap up every night.

Photo Serge workshops are premium, limited-capacity, in-person experiences that require significant advance planning, venue rentals, instructor and staff commitments, materials, travel arrangements, and marketing. These fixed costs are incurred well before the event, which is why we use a tiered cancellation policy — a standard practice among professional photography workshop providers and live-event organizers.

Payment Structure

A deposit is required at registration to secure your seat. The remaining balance will be invoiced approximately 60 days (2 months) prior to the workshop start date and is due upon receipt.

Tiered Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] . The following schedule applies based on days prior to the workshop start date:

Transferability

At any time before the workshop, you may instead request to transfer your paid amounts to:

Transfers must be requested in writing at least 14 days before the original workshop date. This option lets you keep the full value of your investment while helping us maintain full attendance.

More than 180 days (6+ months) before the workshop : Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 10% administrative, processing, and planning fee.
90–180 days (3–6 months) before the workshop : Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 30% administrative and opportunity fee.
Less than 90 days (under 3 months) before the workshop (including after the final balance invoice): Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 50% administrative and opportunity fee.
A future Photo Serge workshop of equivalent value (subject to availability), or
Another eligible participant (you arrange the substitute; we approve the transfer).

  • Your camera,
  • a tripod,
  • a wireless remote or cable release,
  • a wide-angle lens (24mm or wider),
  • a telephoto lens,
  • a ND filter (10-stops or higher) for long exposures,
  • a laptop with Lightroom or Photoshop (or both) for the post-processing.

September in Cinque Terre and Florence is warm but can get cool in the evenings. Light clothing plus a sweater for night shoots. Rain jacket recommended. Comfortable shoes are essential — the Cinque Terre coastal paths involve steps and uneven terrain.

I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don't worry about it!

If you are planning on bringing your husband or wife and they are NOT participating in the workshop, the cost is an additional $1,700. This will cover city tax, transportation and meals.
