Photography Workshop

You pay today $3,750 to book your seat for the workshop and you will receive an invoice about two months before the workshop for the remaining payment.

The total price of the workshop is: $10,000

The whole workshop includes:

• Retouch classes and one on one advice, tips and tricks so you can improve no matter your level in photography so everybody wins!
• The discovery of the beautiful landscapes of Yosemite with all the best photographic spots and the hidden ones :-)
• Four nights in a high end hotel in Yosemite with breakfast included
• A welcome dinner with all the participants
• Lunch and flight tickets are at your expense.
• Transportation is not included, make sure to rent a car for this trip as we will need to move from different locations to capture the amazing sunrise and sunsets

You will pay a reservation fee of $3,750 to secure your spot in the workshop.

Workshops and In-Person Events

Photo Serge workshops are premium, limited-capacity, in-person experiences that require significant advance planning, venue rentals, instructor and staff commitments, materials, travel arrangements, and marketing. These fixed costs are incurred well before the event, which is why we use a tiered cancellation policy — a standard practice among professional photography workshop providers and live-event organizers.

Payment Structure

A deposit is required at registration to secure your seat. The remaining balance will be invoiced approximately 60 days (2 months) prior to the workshop start date and is due upon receipt.

Tiered Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The following schedule applies based on days prior to the workshop start date:

• More than 180 days (6+ months) before the workshop: Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 10% administrative, processing, and planning fee.
• 90–180 days (3–6 months) before the workshop: Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 30% administrative and opportunity fee.
• Less than 90 days (under 3 months) before the workshop (including after the final balance invoice): Refund of all amounts paid, minus a 50% administrative and opportunity fee.

Transferability

At any time before the workshop, you may instead request to transfer your paid amounts to:

• A future Photo Serge workshop of equivalent value (subject to availability), or
• Another eligible participant (you arrange the substitute; we approve the transfer).

Transfers must be requested in writing at least 14 days before the original workshop date. This option lets you keep the full value of your investment while helping us maintain full attendance.

Additional Workshop Terms

• If Photo Serge cancels the workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund or full credit to a future workshop of your choice.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel/trip insurance to protect against personal circumstances, travel issues, or other risks.
• No refunds or transfers for no-shows or partial attendance.
• This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation. We may consider documented extreme hardships on a case-by-case basis, but exceptions are not guaranteed.
• The tiered fees cover payment processing costs (which we do not recover on refunds), administrative work, and the real planning and opportunity costs of holding your seat.

• a wireless remote or cable release,
• 24mm – 70mm lens
• optional 12mm – 24mm lens
• a telephoto lens
• a ND filter (10-stops or higher) for long exposures,
• a laptop with Lightroom or Photoshop (or both) for the post-processing.
• (Optional) ND Filter 1000, 70 – 200.

The weather in Yosemite in June is usually warm during the day and cool in the evenings. You can expect sunny skies, with daytime temperatures around 70–85°F (21–29°C) and nights dropping to about 45–55°F (7–13°C). I recommend bringing layers — a light jacket or sweater for mornings and evenings, and lighter clothing for daytime hikes. It's the perfect time of year for photography, with full waterfalls and clear mountain light!

I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don't worry about it!

If you are planning on bringing your husband or wife and they are NOT participating in the workshop, we ask that they do not disturb the other students in the class.
