Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs — come experience the magic of the Lavender Fields in Provence!
I’ve been traveling through Provence to photograph its world-famous lavender fields only a few times because it is at a very special moment of the year — endless purple horizons, golden sunsets, charming villages, and that unmistakable Provençal atmosphere. It is one of the most breathtaking photography destinations in the world, and I’m excited to share it with you.
This workshop is more than just a photography experience. It’s a journey into the heart of Provence: its warm culture, delicious cuisine, peaceful landscapes, and timeless beauty. Together, we’ll explore the iconic Valensole Plateau and capture images you will cherish forever.
To ensure the best possible experience, this workshop is limited to a small group of 15 participants. This intimate setting allows everyone to learn, enjoy, and fully immerse themselves in the magic of Provence.
All the locations mentioned are subject to changes based on weather and the health of the lavender.

Early July in Provence—especially around the lavender fields of Valensole—can be quite warm, with strong sun during the day and softer breezes in the evening. I recommend bringing light, breathable clothing for the daytime shoots, but also a light jacket or sweater for sunrise and sunset sessions when temperatures can drop unexpectedly.
Since we’ll be walking through fields, uneven terrain, and sometimes dusty paths, comfortable shoes are essential. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen will also be your best friends under the Provençal sun.
I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don’t worry about it!
Spouses of registered attendees are welcome to attend the workshop for a fee of $1,500 USD, provided they are non-photographers and will not be participating in the workshop retouching classes.
