I am thrilled to introduce your instructor Riccardo Fracassi! Riccardo has won many awards in recent years including the Photo Serge Academy Award.
Riccardo has lived in Italy for many years and is the ideal guide for your 7-day photography adventure.
Italy has a rich, deep history and landscapes so stunning you'll think you've stepped inside a Renaissance painting. I am not joking when I say it's hard to find a corner of Italy that doesn't look like a romantic postcard!
Luckily for you, Riccardo knows every iconic landmark and hidden gem there is to find. We can accept a group of 12 photographers at the workshop. I want to keep a small group so you can enjoy this experience to the fullest!

GENERAL INFORMATION
Tickets: $7,500 per person.
Due today for reservation: $2,500.
+ $1,000 to bring your spouse!
Refund policy: deposit can be refunded up to 60 days prior to the workshop (April 12, 2024).
Workshop is limited to a dozen participants.
Reserve your space now because there is a lot of demand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Full price per ticket is $7,500. Deposit payments are $2,500. You will be billed for the remaining $5,000 as we near the workshop date in April of 2024.
The fee for the whole workshop is $7,500 per person, which includes:
- Retouch classes and one on one advice, tips and tricks so you can improve no matter your level in photography so everybody wins!
- Seven nights accommodation.
- The transport during our photoshoots all over the Italy.
- The discovery of the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes of Italy with all the best photographic spots and the hidden ones :-)
- A beautiful Italian meal to wrap up every night.
Additional meals, flight tickets and additional nights in the hotel are at your expense.
You will pay a reservation fee of $2,500 to secure your spot in the workshop.
This is a fully refundable deposit up to 60 days before the workshop on April 12th, 2024. You will be billed for the remaining balance of $5,000 as we near the workshop in 2024. Refunds requested after the 60-day window are not subject to full refund as we must reserve hotels, transportation, meals, etc.
- Your camera,
- a tripod,
- a wireless remote or cable release,
- a wide-angle lens (24mm or wider),
- a telephoto lens,
- a ND filter (10-stops or higher) for long exposures,
- a laptop with Lightroom or Photoshop (or both) for the post-processing.

The weather in Italy is pretty warm so I would advise you to bring pretty light clothing, but it can get cold at night, so bring at least a sweater and it can rain so be ready for this too! We will be walking a lot during our photo hunting so be ready for that, and make sure that you are in good health and bring some comfortable shoes.
I accept all level of experience in photography, but just make sure you have the gear needed; otherwise it will be no fun for you. If you are missing a lens or a ND filter don’t worry about it!
If you are planning on bringing your husband or wife and they are NOT participating in the workshop, the cost is an additional $1,000. This will cover city tax, transportation and meals.
If you want to bring your husband or wife and they plan on participating in the workshop, the cost is an additional $5,500 instead of $7,500.
